Hard to believe we are less than two weeks away from Christmas! 2021 has been a blur and at times still difficult to keep up with how things moved back forth with all that was going on.
To try and help keep you up to date here is your final Blast of this year. It is a little lighter but still has some great training information and opportunities.

TRAIN THE TRAINER
Belleville Fire and Emergency Services
Good Afternoon,
I would like to provide a training opportunity for fire service in Ontario. BFES will be hosting a train the trainer course focusing on the IAFF Survivor Ground Training Trailer.
We are planning for the third week of June 2022. The course is 4 days in duration with instruction provided by 6 Master IAFF trainers. Cost of the course is approximately $1700 per student. If interested please contact Chief Belair directly.

1985 35 Years Ago | History Snapshot

· Sweden and Finland share a small island called Märket. In 1885, the Finns accidentally built a lighthouse on the Swedish side of the island. This land dispute was solved in 1985 by redrawing the border to include the lighthouse and ceded an equal sized piece of land on the other side to Sweden.

John Uptegrove began his career with the Puslinch Volunteer Fire Department!
John was recently recognized by his community for his long-standing service and rightfully so. He has been a leader in our industry ever since and has made significant contributions to all facets of training throughout the province.
